The New England Patriots are known for auditioning several players
throughout the season.
They worked out several players today [Saturday], including former
Chicago Bears reserve running back Kahlil Bell.
In addition to Bell, the Patriots worked out linebacker Noah Keller,
defensive back Ben Hannula, wide receiver Sam Kirkland, wide receiver
Thomas Mayo and running back Josh Vaughan.
None of the plyers were immediately signed to a contract.
[Editor's Note: Kirkland was added to the Patriots practice squad late
Saturday.]
