Hayden Agrees to 4-Year Deal

Posted Jul 27, 2005

Colts CB Kelvin Hayden and RB Anthony Davis both agreed to terms today, which means the Colt will have their entire draft class at training camp on time.

Second-round draft pick Kelvin Hayden out of Illinois has agreed to a 4-year contract with the Colts according to his agent, Fletcher Smith.

So far, no other details about Hayden's deal or that of seventh-round pick Anthony Davis have been made public. Both players are expected to be in Terre Haute before the end of the day on Wednesday.

By successfully signing the entire draft class in roughly one week's time, Colts President Bill Polian has ensured that the team won't be distracted by any rookie holdouts. Players were to report to training camp today, leaving veteran Edgerrin James as the only question mark in regards to whether or not the Colts will have their entire roster present.

ColtPower will provide contract detail updates on all the rookies as we are able to obtain them.
