Former Mississippi RB Vashon Pearson spent three days on the Colts practice squad last week. Then on Monday he was released.
On Thursday, following a series of roster moves that opened up two spots on the practice squad, Pearson was re-signed. He is one of five offensive players on the 8-man squad.
Linebacker Mike Labinjo was promoted to the 53-man roster and defensive back Brandon Lynch was placed on the practice squad injury list. The Colts used the two vacancies to add Pearson and former Colorado State WR Eric Hill back onto the practice squad. Hill has been converted to a cornerback with the Colts.
The current 8-man squad now includes:
QB Tom Arth
RB Vashon Pearson
WR John Standeford
WR Roscoe Crosby
OL Bo Lacy
LB Jonathan Goddard
LB Chris Laskowski
CB Eric Hill
