One signed, six to go.
The Indianapolis Colts announced that former Texas Christian offensive lineman Michael Toudouze has signed his contract and will be in camp on time. No details were released by thc club, but ColtPower has learned that he signed a four-year deal.
Toudouze was the Colts' fifth-round selection, one of two offensive linemen picked in this year's NFL Draft. The other one was Charlie Johnson out of Oklahoma State, who was picked later in the sixth-round.
While six other picks are unsigned at this point, all of them have been participating in a voluntary rookie camp this week. Even though signed picks are expected to report with the rest of the team at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, workouts don't actually begin until Monday morning. And since the rookies are already in Indiana, deals could be struck as late as Sunday evening and the rookies would still make it to camp in time for Monday workouts.
Still unsigned are running back Joseph Addai (first round), cornerback Tim Jennings (second), linebacker Freddie Keiaho (third), offensive tackle Charlie Johnson (sixth) safety Antoine Bethea (sixth) and cornerback/returner T.J. Rushing (seventh).
