According to the Indianapolis Star, the Colts are expected to announce that they've lost reserve running back and special teams player James Mungro for the season. During preseason action against the Seahawks, Mungro injured his knee during a running play that the Star is reporting has been diagnosed as a torn ACL.
After adding three defensive linemen to the depth chart yesterday, the team continues to look for ways to add talent to their roster. The Colts moved quickly to take advantage of the unexpected availability of another tall target for Peyton Manning. According to the Calgary Sun, 6-foot-3, 220-pound receiver Marc Boerigter is expected to be signed by the Colts after completing a physical. He could be practicing with the team as early as this afternoon.

Boerigter expects to compete with Aaron Moorehead and John Standeford for the number four position on the depth chart.
"I just know they're looking basically for a No. 4 guy," he told the Sun. "I think I can bring a veteran presence to it."
Boerigter was released by the Packers on Tuesday, as they opted to go with younger receivers that coach Mike McCarthy felt "had a little more upside" than the 28-year old receiver. The Packers had signed him to a one-year deal as an unrestricted free agent during the offseason.
Boerigter is a receiver that caught Colts president Bill Polian's eye back in 2002. After he raised his profile following a Grey Cup win and impressive season with the Calgary Stampeders, Boerigter reportedly fielded offers from the Chiefs and the Colts. He signed with Kansas City and over his first four years in the league he caught 39 passes for 697 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
