According to a report from one of our sources at, the Colts have re-signed kicker Martin Gramatica in a move that certainly raises question marks about Adam Vinatieri's ability to kick against the Titans on Sunday.

ColtPower has learned from one of our sources that the Colts re-signed kicker Martin Gramatica on Saturday, a surprise move in light of the fact that the team released him earlier this week on Wednesday.

Adam Vinatieri was listed on the team's injury report on Friday as "probable" for Sunday's game, an upgrade from his status earlier this week of "questionable" so the move is very curious. Vinatieri has missed the previous two games after leaving the team's Week 2 game against the Texans in the fourth quarter with a groin strain.

The Colts had a roster spot open to make this move since they placed DT Corey Simon on the non-football illness list on Thursday.

At this point, we've been unable to confirm if the move is precautionary in case Vinatieri experiences any discomfort while kicking on Sunday, or if he has had a setback that will prevent him from kicking off or handling field goals against the Titans.
