Barring a setback, it appears that Colts starting middle linebacker Gary Brackett will be back in action this Sunday against the Eagles. Brackett had missed the past two games plus the second-half of the team's victory over New England back on November 5th after straining a hamstring during that contest. Four players who have missed multiple weeks of action missed Wednesday's practice, including safeties Bob Sanders (knee) and Matt Giordano (calf), WR Brandon Stokley (knee), and LB Keith O'Neil (ankle). All are listed as questionable this week. Also missing practice and being listed as questionable for the Colts were CB Nick Harper (hip) and LB Gilbert Gardner (rib). Rounding out the team's injury report that had just a total of 12 Colts on it -- the lowest number of players to start a week in quite some time -- were Montae Reagor (head, OUT), and a few others who were listed as questionable: LBs Brackett, Freddy Keiaho (shoulder) and Rocky Boiman (upper arm), and offensive linemen Dylan Gandy (low back) and Ryan Lilja (knee). The Eagles' injury report is as follows: DOUBTFUL: LB Shawn Barber (Knee/Neck) QUESTIONABLE: LB Jason Short (Ankle), CB James Williams (knee) PROBABLE: RB Brian Westbrook (knee), LB Matt McCoy (shoulder/abdomen) |
