8:01 p.m. ET ... The Indianapolis Colts trimmed their roster on Saturday to get down to the league-mandated limit of 53. Two notable veterans were amongst the cuts.

The Indianapolis Colts released veteran DE Bo Schobel on Saturday and waived the following players:

LB Brandon Archer, QB Josh Betts, DBs Duane Coleman and Tanard Davis, RBs Clifton Dawson and DeDe Dorsey, TEs Matt Farbotko and Jonny Harline, LB KaMichael Hall, DE Ryan LaCasse, G Joe Lobdell, DT Ramel Meekins, DB Antonio Perkins, TE Gijon Robinson, WRs Trent Shelton, John Standeford, and Craphonso Thorpe, G Matt Ulrich, DB Scott Ware, G Sam Wilder, and LB Victor Worsley.
