Injury Update: January 12

The Colts rested the last couple of weeks of the season and it seems to have paid off for the team. There are still some concerns, so click inside to get the latest news on the players that are recovering from bumps and bruises.

— WR Pierre Garcon (hand/knee) is expected to play this week against the Ravens. A final decision, though, isn't expected until Thursday or Friday.

OT Charlie Johnson (foot) saw work last week in practice and should be able to start the Baltimore game on Saturday. His status should be updated later this week.

— OT Ryan Diem (elbow) practiced last Monday but did not take part in workouts the remainder of the week. Diem, though, is expected to be in the starting lineup against the Ravens.

— DT Antonio Johnson (shoulder) missed some practice time early last week. He was able to get some work later in the week and should start against the Ravens on Saturday.

— DE Dwight Freeney (abdomen) saw practice time last week and is expected to start against Baltimore.

— DE Robert Mathis (quad) was able to get back into full work in practice last week. Mathis should be in the starting lineup in the Ravens game.

— CB Jerraud Powers (hamstring) appears to be close to 100 percent for the Colts' playoff run. Powers missed the final three games of the regular season.
