We're going to relax the moderation of the public forums, especially since Scout has now added an "Ignore This User" feature right below the name of each user to the far left of each post. It allows each of you to moderate others by choosing not to see posts by someone who is getting under your skin or is posting in a manner that is offensive to you.
You also have the ability to report inappropriate posts to our moderators using the "Report Post" link in the upper right corner of every post in a thread. They'll evaluate your report, but they are only going to take action on posts that violate a few simple rules:
1. No extreme language that has gotten past the profanity filter. No racial or sexual slurs.
2. No threatening other posters.
3. No religious or political posts, no overt sexual language or photos that include nudity.
4. No spamming or repetitive posts about hating the Colts and their players.
Beyond that, you folks will now moderate your own community in the public area. If enough of you don't like something, I'm confident you'll sort it out or use the ignore feature. We hope that more Colts fans, who perhaps found our previous moderating too restrictive for their taste, to join us here and become active members of our fan community.
Our moderator team will delete posts as shown above as they find them or are brought to their attention. In all areas of the site, we encourage ongoing mutual courtesy and respect amongst our members.
We will delete posts and/or ban any individual at any time without warning should that person conduct themselves in a manner or takes an action not included in these rules that we determine in our sole discretion to be detrimental to our community of fans or our business.
