How Acquired: Signed as a free agent on January 18, 2005.
Contract Status: Under contract through 2005.
Career Notes:
Arth has been with the team since 2003, signing one-year contracts each time. As an undrafted rookie free agent, he was placed on the reserve non-football illness list in August, 2003 and worked for the Colts as an assistant, studying game film and providing analysis. In 2004, he ws allocated to NFL Europe where he played for the Scottish Claymores. Arth was released on September 4th, but worked for the team as an assistant, breaking down game film for Peyton Manning. In 2005, he played in NFLE for the Hamburg Sea Devils.
Arth was a four-year starter at Division III John Carroll University. Was injured during his senior year. Finished his career as the all-time school leader in passing yards (10,345) and passing touchdowns (89). Set 18 school records. |
