| 5/1/05: Fowlkes was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts after setting school and conference records for receiving. I-AA.org named him national offensive player of the year. He also finished third in the Walter Payton Award balloting for the nation's top Division I-AA player. He typically runs a 4.40 - 4.50 forty yard dash. Between his size and quickness, Colts President Bill Polian referred to him as "one of those Marvin-Harrison type guys." Fowlkes will be striving to grab a roster spot primarily as a kick-returner this season. |
