Career Notes: Originally was a 2006 NFLE Designate, but the Colts pulled him back to let him work with the Colt's offense during the off season. Crosby was signed by the Colts on July 15th, 2005 following the NFL Supplemental Draft as an undrafted free agent. He was then released from the squad in cutdowns leading up to start of the regular season and then signed to the practice squad mid-season and then brought back for the 2006 season. The former Clemson WR only played football as a pure freshman after being one of the top high school football and baseball prospects. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 2001 draft and tried to continue his studies while honing his baseball skills with them. He had elbow surgery in 2002 that ended his ability to play baseball professionally or football for Clemson that year. He left Clemson after playing in one game his junior year due to family problems. Declared academically ineligible for his senior year, he opted for the NFL Supplemental Draft and was reportedly pursued by 6-8 teams before signing with the Colts.
