Sapp has established himself as a hard-hitting and intelligent safety who is a valuable performer on special teams. Sapp is expected to be a second-team safety in 2006 who is versatile enough to play at either the free safety or strong safety position. He was a 4 year letterman at Notre Dame starting 16 games alternating between both safety positions in his 43 game career.
