How Acquired: Taken in the second round (49th pick overall) by the Vikings in the 2005 draft.

2007: Played in all 16 games, mostly on special teams and seeing limited action at right tackle. Was part of a kickoff return wedge that helped set a team-record 24.8-yard return average.
2006: Started the opening 10 games of the season before getting pulled in favor of Mike Rosenthal and then rookie Ryan Cook. Was inactive for the final six games of the season.
2005: Played in 14 games, starting eight – four in the first four games of the season at right guard and four games at right tackle from Nov. 27-Dec. 18. Missed the final two games of the season.
College: Team captain at Mississippi, starting 45 games at right guard and three others at right tackle. Started every game at right tackle in 2003 for the SEC’s leading offense in scoring and yardage. Earned fourth-team Freshman All-American honors from The Sporting News in 2001. Criminal justice major.
Personal: Earned first-team Clarion-Ledger all-state honors while playing for Coffeeville (Miss.) High School. Named to SuperPrep's All-Dixie team as a senior. Started three years at offensive line and defensive line. Earned three letters in football. Brother, Belton, was an offensive lineman at Mississippi from 1999-2002.
