Houston Texans
2013 draft picks:
1st round (27), 2(57), 3(89, 95), 4(124), 5(160), 6(195, 201), 7 (233)

The Texans have had a relatively quiet off-season in terms of roster moves. Their big get was landing future Hall of Fame safety Ed Reed. Yeah he may be on the back end of his career but the guy is a winner. Maybe his leadership and play can help take this talented Houston team to the promise land.

Draft Needs
1) Wide Receiver
The Texans have a very balanced offense but think about how things could really open up if Houston found a solid No. 2 wide receiver opposite of Andre Johnson? At pick No. 27 in the first round they will have an opportunity to land a very good prospect that should fit that bill. Robert Woods, Justin Hunter, and DeAndre Hopkins are a trio that could all still be there.

Even if Houston waited until the second or even the third round they can find a good wideout. But the more sure thing is landing one of the names mentioned above.

2) Linebacker
They need some opposite of Brian Cushing in the middle of their defense, that is if Cushing returns healthy from his knee injury. There's a chance that Alec Ogletee or Kevin Minter is available with their first pick. There's players here at this position they could move on in the mid to late rounds as well. Jon Bostic and Kiko Alonso are two that come to mind.

3) Offensive Line
The Texans need to address their offensive front on the right side. Menelik Watson is a right tackle that could be still on the board at No. 27. He's raw but has a high ceiling. Justin Pugh is a player that can play tackle or perhaps move inside to guard. There are a handful of potential selections down the line should they choose to wait like Ricky Wagner, Jordan Mills and Xavier Nixon.

Houston can wait on a guard in the mid-to-late rounds. Ryan Jensen, Chris Barker, Jeff Baca, and Earl Watford are some name to watch here.

4) Nose Tackle
Houston could use another nose tackle and there's no question that they could draft a good one in the first round. In fact, they would have a chance to land one of the elite prospects here from names like John Jenkins, Johnathan Hankins, and Jesse Williams. They could probably get Brandon Williams in the second round.

5) Safety
It's a deep year for this position. With other positions more of a priority look for the Texans to wait a bit to draft this spot. Some middle to late round players to keep an eye are on Bacarri Rambo, Josh Evans, Earl Wolff, and Duke Williams. Another to watch is Ray Ray Armstrong. He could be a steal late for someone.
